October 2022 – Barcelona, Spain. PayRetailers joins Aspasim Foundation to support the well-being and social inclusion of people with severe intellectual disabilities. Through this initiative, the Barcelona-headquartered paytech presents its first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) action in Spain.
The payment processor specialised in emerging markets in Latin America is committed to fully financing and participating in the construction process of the new physiotherapy room of Aspasim, a non-profit organisation that has been working for people with intellectual disabilities for over 80 years.
Aspasim is an institution dedicated to serving and accompanying people with special educational needs through health, occupational, educational, housing and leisure projects, complying with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities approved by the UN.
During the month of October, PayRetailers organised a volunteer service with different groups of employees from its local staff, who will finalise details of the new physiotherapy room – whose construction process began in September – dedicating their commitment, effort and responsibility to the cause.
