PayRetailers has hired Enrique Cárcamo as the company’s new COO. Enrique has a diverse professional background that makes him the ideal candidate for the position, that makes him be responsible for the company’s operations and account management in the region.
Enrique holds a degree in Computer Engineering and an Executive MBA from IESE Business School. Throughout his professional career, he has worked in the planning, development and launch stages of different technological solutions and products at an international level.
He also has extensive experience in technology consulting and financial services, especially in the payments and money transfer sector. Some of his main clients have been Banco Santander, BBVA and the Nuclear Security Council. His areas of expertise include digital transformation, innovation and internationalization.
Enrique Cárcamo has led the digital business of companies such as Monty Global Payments, a company at which for nine years he was accountable for the development and launch of the web platform and mobile application that allows its customers to send remittances to more than 150 countries in more than 80 currencies. At PayRetailers he will be deeply involved in the organization of operations, the optimization of processes and the implementation, measurement and monitoring of the objectives set by the company. His challenge is to develop these sectors within a company that works with more than 12 countries in Latin America (each with different consumer habits), and with more than 250 payment methods.
Regarding his professional qualities, Enrique Cárcamo himself points out that his training and experience working with different teams and profiles have given him deep knowledge of business and technology. This allows him to understand both worlds so that he can bring teams and clients closer together and, consequently, save on time and costs. In addition, this will generate a significant improvement in the quality of results, and also in the attitude and spirit of the team.
His professional profile has been strengthened over time and with the work of four guidelines that characterize all his projects: efficiency, effectiveness, coherence and consistency. On these pillars, he applies the logic of continuous improvement. Enrique Cárcamo is a creative professional, determined to do things differently.
