The generation that knows how to best use new technologies are Millennials. It’s no secret that the change in global e-commerce is up to them because they increasingly use less cash and drive innovation in the digital payments industry.
Millennials know how they want to pay for their daily needs, therefore, e-commerce retailers must allow customers to pay where, when and how they want.
Looking ahead, we should ask ourselves the following questions:

- How can we adapt to the needs of the millennial generation?
Due to the increase of smartphones in the day to day digital payments are changing. According to a study, 98% of Millennials (people between 18 and 34 years old) have a smartphone. 97% of them actively use social networks. Therefore, payments from a smartphone are very common.
Digital payments had never exceeded the cash payment with such success. We must be prepared.
